Do you need a hair cut?

Getting a hair cut is costing more and more in Korea as time goes by (well, I guess it's natural) but men are still on the lucky side. It's still much cheaper than in other countries and cheaper than for women to get a hair cut. The place I usually go to is the most expensive one around my neighborhood (I keep going back there because I really like their service there) but it's only 9,000 won - and I only go once every two months!

  1. ㅎㅎ It reminds me of my early time in Korea:
I said "브라드 피트 주세요" while showing a picture of Brad Pitt, and they would cut my hair according to the picture without asking any question.
    How convenient!!! :D :D

  2. Wow! Only 9,000 won? That is really cheap. I pay about 60,000 won for a hair cut here in Sweden o.O

  3. i just paid 20 bucks for a frou-frou cut. normally it's 15 bucks for a normal men's haircut here in Texas.

all i can say is - this post just added one more tick mark in the "korea is awesome" category.

  5. Of course it worked!
OK... sometimes they did ask questions. But at that time the only thing I knew was "주세요" and "감사합니다". So I just smiled and pointed to the picture again whenever they asked questions...
But really, they always did a good job. ^^
